My Favorite Dibert Cartoon
Is a picture from a calender from a few years ago of "Dogbert's Tech Support" with Dogbert with a headset on telling a caller to "Shut Up and Reboot!" and the response on the phone is "Yeah it worked!"

For Windows, that is ALWAYS the first step. Rebooting 4 or 5 times though is really stupid. You end up overwriting your regustry.
