Go Microsoft....!!!
...or anybody else with enough muscle to get rid of the POP mail protocol.

Seriously folks, a patch to Outlook and a few server upgrades could get rid of spam almost overnight. Other mail programs would follow in a matter of weeks.

Microsoft has been making loud grunting noises about spam for years so what are we waiting for? I suspect that the answer to that is "Longhorn" - with SpamFree(tm) technology. After all, we do need some reasons to upgrade, apart from "improved DRM".

Start petitioning Microsoft today. DEMAND this upgrade. They can do it easily...the only problem is getting them to give it to you.
