See competion made MS better.
Seriously, Microsoft is not the enemy. They are competition. Nothing more. Worrying about means you are in trouble. If BEA can focus on what they do best an fill a need they will do well. If not they will close their doors.
Competition in any form makes someone or some company better or they close. Sooner or later the posers leave. These elitists that you talk about that get all excited about their own products will remove themselves from the fray after a time.

I am very real. When I was in trucking I beat the hell out of my competition because my products and service were the best. I sold out because of an injury. 5 years later I am doing quite well thankyou.
