And it's worked so well for them too!

Until recently that is. Thanks to their apathy and monopoly, MS is not only far from the state of the art in software development but the code they release is poorly designed. You would think that if since MS is so far behind the cutting edge, at least MS would be rock solid with tight code, smaller resources & footprints and iron clad security. Too bad it's not so.
