Red Hat needs t think Ubuntu
Red Hat management just needs to think right out of the box. The simplest solution for them is Ubuntu on the desktop rather than Fedora, this would reduce the resources spent on the desktop allowing them to focus on the server service and support. The resources spent of creating it's own desktop would be far better spent on accelerating the growth of Ubuntu desktop as a competitor to M$ (FU)DRM crippled Vista (P)OS. For Red Hat it would be marginally more cost effective to support and enhance Ubuntu rather than create and market it's own desktop (plus it makes absolutely no difference in terms of service and support mind share, if anything it would be a plus) and the opportunity exists now to really drive forward a single Linux desktop solution and make a real attack on M$ incumbent market share.
