HAve you ever seen "Quigly Down Under"?
At the end of the movie the main character (who is a rifle sharp shooter) is forced into a pistol gun fight. After shooting three men the "bad guy" says, "I thought you didn't use pistols". The main character looks at him and says, "I said I didn't have much use for them, never said I didn't know how to use them."
