A bit touchy today are we...
blasting everyone as you are, though I guess you're just typically being nikoli and can't help it. Quick with the name calling, insults and opinions... short on facts or substance. Oops, sorry... did I just pull a "nikoli"? happy

>>> FavoUred ??? WTF is that suposed to mean? Maybe it'd help if you coloUred it red for me. >>>

Favour, colour, labour, neighbour,... a number of British-influenced spellings that are still widely used in Canada from our ties to the British Commonwealth. Unlike the apparently widely used "suposed" word you've just used (or was that misspelled?).

Gartner and such independent consulting groups have run studies in the past that have favoUred the Mac as costing less in the long run and showing a higher return per employee (IIRC, you need to pay to access the actual Gartner studies). Most Mac-bashers look at and argue initial cost thru the door but that's only part of the full "cost" picture.

Some accessible TCO examples...

An Australian university had Gartner run a separate TCO study, the content of the story at...

(more TCO links at the bottom of the screen including the following)

A Mac vs "PC" comparison (data accumulated to show the anti-Mac fallacies, lies and myths to support Macs in schools but also relevant to business)...
http://www.macvspc.info/

More links (bottom of screen...mostly education-based but TCO relevant to business)...
http://www.cmi.k12.il.us/Urbana/ymac.htm#tco

Even more independent links...

A personal Windows User-to-Mac account at...
http://www.osviews.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=338&mode=thread&order=0&thold=0

Though some studies are a few years old, many of the same support and maintenance issues still "bug" Windows and if anything, Macs have since come down in price (price to performance) and become more robust (OSX vs OS9/8/etc).

I could probably find more such TCO links but you'd no doubt disbelieve anything anyway that counters your hardened anti-Mac opinion and illusion (or would that be delusion?).

Let's see you produce one independent TCO/ROI study favoUring Windows (ie, not sponsored by MS or from the MS site) over the Mac. It may actually exist but I won't be holding my breath waiting for you to find it.

*** Noticed you bugged out weeks back in the Intel "MHz/GHz isn't really as important as we've been hyping" exchange we were having. I stated Intel dropped that PR spin with the intro of the Centrino... you said I was basically "all wet and wrong" (so to speak). Since then Intel has reinforced it's stand, re discounting pure processor speed, by confirming it isn't really the "be all and end all" and there are other factors at play.

Wait... you also bailed on your claim of "thousands of equivalent or superior (to Apple iLife) Windows apps" you could conveniently obtain and easily load for a similar or lesser cost (than iLife at $49 US or free with a Mac). I asked for examples... you disappeared.

I'm seeing a pattern here...
