What because I am an atheist?
That makes me a hypocrite? Especially when I see lip service from both camps about love thy brother and all that horse crap, meanwhile both camps are out killing each other and those of us that could care less about the differences in either belief OVER a STUPID BELIEF and I am a hypocrite?

Iraq: The US is there over oil and power, the muslims are in it over some distortion of their religion.

Isreal: The Jews are at it with the palestinians and have been for longer than any of us have been alive, for what? The real reason has been changed and perverted over the centuries that it's no longer clear.

BOTH the catholics and muslims have slaughtered millions of people over the course of history, all in the name of a belief. The Native American Indians were subjegated and murdered en mass, because the "righteous" catholics were trying to show these "savages" the path to enlightenment.

All in all I would have to say the track record of both of these major religious factions is pretty p!$$ poor. I went church like a good little boy (catholic no less) and all I saw were perversion of truth and obscuring of facts. Twisting of logic and a resounding refusal to answer many of mine and my freinds questions. Even if the answer is "I just don't know son."

Hypocracy runs rampant in the religious factions of the world. About the only people that seem to actaully practice what they preach are the Buhdist, Taoist and Asian Monks. I repect them and listen when they speak. Ashcroft is a prime example of what I speak of!
