Microsoft wants to offer smaller businesses the same quality products they offer to the large corporations. If they don't the smaller businesses will have a competitive advantage.

Home Depot bought Linux devices for their point of sale computers. As of last year Wal-Mart was using Windows based self-checkout lanes.

Guess which store I was checking out of when the computer crashed with a blue screen of death. Sorry, Sam.
