More out of work than working
I have more friends - including myself - out of work, than working.

There are currently 8 of us (and they all have additional friends it the same situation), that have been layed off due to corporate outsourcing between 3-1/2 and 1-1/2 years.

None of us has medical insurance. Any savings is gone. Several have lost their homes. We're between our early 40's and mid 50's.

So of course according to the logic here, this means we have more disposable income to spend on things like, food, rent, and of course prescription medications we have to purchase from Mexico and Canada because the prices here are beyond our means.

Oh yes, outsourcing is wonderful.

So tell me, who's going to spend all this money we're saving with a majority of American's out of work and the rest working 70 hour weeks to pull up the slack, and try to keep their jobs?

That is something very, very wrong with this country.
