For the industry to lose a billion when it rakes in trillions is not that much of a loss - the billion, if realized, will not wind up in any one pocket so the loss is shared.
These moguls aren't paying their peons any more whether there is pirating or not - they just have to settle to live in a 15, instead of a 16, bedroom mansion. Just be a little more careful whom you let drive your Ferrari Enzo. And save on air fares and adopt at home.
