Actually I was fixated on the disgusting child porn and the illegal parts of p2p.

I'm neither defending the RIAA nor bashing the p2p, however I must admit that I too quickly dismissed the points about the RIAA getting carried away with their hatred of p2p networks, and for that I apologize.
