drive by download
That's a lie that they don't use drive by downloads. My gf went looking for wallpaper in IE. This was on the kids computers and I had not installed Mozilla on them yet.

Guess what spyware was on the computer when she was done (and never got any popups asking to install anything). WhenU (along with a couple of other programs. Worse, when the program was deleted using Spybot or Ad Aware, it would come back right after the next reboot. How is that NOT spyware activity?

Granted, they're not as nasty as Cool Web Search, but then, who is?
