No-one forces you to use any license
"That is not fair to commerce"

Ah, life is not fair.

"someone might change his/her mind and suddenly LGPL
code could become GPL"

The copyright holders might choose to release a version
with a different license (eg GPL), however you'll always be
able to use the older GPLed version.

"Those [propietary software] should not be forced to be
GPL'ed."

Nobody forces you to use the GPL or link with GPLed code.
If you don't like it don't use it!

"...friendly warning, because I expressed such concerns in
corporation I work for as a consultant"

As always understand the license. If you don't like the GPL,
LPGL, CPL or the MS EULA simply don't use the software. If
you choose to use the software you must abide by the
licensing conditions, simple.

It may in fact be cheaper to lose control of your small IP
contribution to get the benefits of the enormous IP
wealth available under the GPL.
