Too late, too bad
Writing interfaces WITHOUT templates in Java is much easier than playing with Microsoft stuff. And I am saying that as a developer who used Microsoft tools and developed (design to implementation) some interfaces for several years. They were miserable years... and one of reasons to depart Microsoft technologies. Now, I appreciate staying in touch with Microsoft solutions for the next career step via MSDN, but certainly not to get some pointless another MCxx certificate to prove ability of using drag-and-drop technique and memorizing layout of their tools called "technologies". That was designed as a pure brainwash not adequate for software engineers.

Glad to see that Microsoft people smartened up and released what is simply a code for coders to learn from (instead of hustling for another certification exam), but that's a little too late. Java has now a palette of good "technologies"... pardon me... tools for development from number of vendors. It is also relatively easy to develope interfaces in Java from scratch using simple Notepad, vi or Emacs.
