More like an ambush
---By releasing their software under the CPL, Microsoft is showing once again that they rule the world - even the open source world---

Read the license carefully. If MS decides to infringe on the copyrights of someone else and you use the MS 'freebie' in a commercial application you, not MS, are responsible for the infringement, even thought MS is the original infringer. Of course we all know from MS long history of being the defendant in copyright infringement cases they'd never pull such a stunt, right?

Smells like an ambush. I'd be careful. No, actually I wouldn't use it. Looks like another MS trick to give free software a bad name.
