Yahoo! boosts free e-mail storage to 100MB
In my personal opinion, Yahoo!, including MSN Hotmail, plaster their sites with advertisments aplenty, even to that of pop-up ads which appear on MSN Hotmail's site, even if you've upgraded to Extra Storage.

In the past, I have used the services of Yahoo! and MSN Hotmail and have been none-the-less displeased.

Last summer (2003), I came across the web-based email service of Burntmail, and I can tell you this one thing, Burntmail (http://www.burntmail.com) has surpassed everything that Yahoo! and MSN Hotmail ever hope to achieve.

Burntmail is not funded by any advertisements, whatsoever. You'll never see any ads on Burntmail's site. The yearly fee for Burntmail is $15.00 U.S.D. ($20.21 CDN) and offers 35 MB of storage, and 10MB for sending and receiving emails attachments. There are too many more features too numerous to mention here.

Personally, I only use my MSN Hotmail email for junk mail, which is all that it's good; JUNK! MSN Hotmail has done away with everything associated with Hotmail: Calendar, Photos, to name a few. If you subscribe to Extra Storage on your Hotmail account, that's all you get, nothing more. The only reason Yahoo! is boosting it email storage level is to keep in competition with Gmail which is offering 1GB to subscriber's.

I'll stick with Burntmail, a wholly Canadian, owned and operated, web-based email situated in Calgary, Alberta. Burntmail is above reproach in every aspect and will superceed the services of Yahoo! and MSN Hotmail in years to come.
