As a user of mozilla and an armchair web developer...
While Yahoo is enhancing the mail service, could they fix their HTML email input to work with all browsers? If you use MSIE, you get an IFRAME with weird controls. If you use other browsers, you get more standards-compliant controls, but you lose several key functions. It would have been easier to write it correctly than write MSIE-specific code.

When I recently rewrote my website, I decdied to write it so I was completely html 4.01 compliant. On one page where an audio file is played, I had to write a workaround my code so that it would play in Internet Explorer. This was because IE didn't handle the tag I used (A STANDARD tag that was used correctly) the same way as every other broswer in existence did.

I still managed to write the page so that it was compliant but I had to impliment a php broswer-check which would spit out 'special' code just for IE.

These types of things are why companies do this.
They could write their pages using standards compliant code, but chances are it probably wouldn't work properly for IE users - which makes up 90+% of their audience.

Bahhh!!
