In Ubuntu I can.
Whenever something is streamed, it is stored in /tmp. The user simply has to retrieve the flash movie from there, and it can open with any media player such as mplayer or vlc.

I believe this can also be done under windoze, although i don't know where the flash movie is downloaded to, because windoze has numerous temporary folders, and they move around with every version. but once you find the flash movie, it should play with vlc, which can be freely downloaded (giyf).
