But can you shut the player off??
One of the most annoying things about Flash Player is the inability to turn it on/off at will. Thankfully, I found FlashBlock. At least 90% of the time, I don't want Flash to play. It's pathetic that I have to resort to third party software to attain any kind of control.

Kind of sounds like Silverlight will cater to the corporates and designers which likely means inadequate user control (just like Flash). We shall see I guess.
