Microsoft confirms Vista OEM hack
Microsoft really needs to protect its software. They are losing millions to piracy. They need to recover the costs of research and development, testing, and marketing that was put in to making such great products. If they keep losing money they won't have any incentive to continue improving Windows. Piracy hurts everyone.
