The question of interface support
Since Microsoft promotes USB, I stiull do not see VPC supporting firewire. Although, USB is a good solution for slower devices, Firewire is superior when it comes to fast devices and in particular video cameras. People use their computers for video editing. Some... wink may have their old Windows suites and would like to use them on MacOSX instead of spending another several hundred dollars for new version or use some primitive, limited in functionality general public tool like iMovie or similar.

So my question is: Is Microsoft preparing version of VPC that could provide access to firewire in emulated environment the way it did with USB in VPC version 6.x?

Most video cameras use firewire for movie/DV transfers.
