I really hate to do this again

But this statement is an oxymoron.

also, remember that eolas did *not* patent any 'ip'.

A patent is intellectual property. In fact, the director of the PTO is the U.S. representative to world IP councils. We're different from other countries because Mr. Jefferson (who by coincidence was the first patent commissioner) 'donated' his library to Congress, and so the copyright member of the IP triad is in another branch of government, but basically intellectual property is classified into trade secrets, copyrights, trademarks and patents, and each has its particular laws and protections.

I'm really not following you around to dispute your conclusions. It's just that ip is exactly what you do patent.
