'You expect people to defend their patent from day one when they can't see if someone has actually hijacked your IP?'

are you suggesting that eolas didn't know until just recently that browsers worked this way?

also, remember that eolas did *not* patent any 'ip'. they patented a general idea, not a specific method or block of code. open source/closed source is irrelevant, because the source has nothing to do with this case.
