Pay-per-use

Well said ole_man. This is exactly why M$ deliberatedly sabotaged Vista, and made the XP activation and WGA schemes. They have been planning the whole diskless computer with a cloud OS and pay-per-use cloud apps from early 2k, and most of the nastiest malware, stability, security and compatibility issues and this new trend of thinking that computer OS's and apps have to be "proffesional" (read: ugly and uncustomizable, command line based if possible) are actually part of the M$ master plan in ultimatelly eliminating the disk-based PC platform (read: PC, Mac, Sun, HPPA, etc) and forcing everyone to pay for every app and every time they want to use them, and to top it have full control and censorship on everyone's data.
Fortunatelly, there's still hope. promote linux, BSD and Mac.
