i can se our point
I can understand with all the different Linux solutions out there it would be hard to admin all of them. So I would say port it for KDE and GNOME and be done with it. If it works on both of these shells, then i'd guess it's pretty simple for someone to come up with a way to get it to work on certain distributions. If that doesn't work (I don't know anything about programming), go for the largest distribution(s) SuSe or RedHat. I'm not trying to simplify who uses what, but that would be considered the largest user base, i'd think.

I know Windows is Bill's baby and all, but I also see a large amount of money that could be generated in the near future from such a thing. I could be wrong, but one never knows. I don't see Linux going away, and we all have to agree to a point that it is gaining ground, be it slowly, but gaining. Maybe one day something like this will happen, but thats the future, no one really knows what WILL happen in say 5-10 years in the computing industry.
