No argument here John
Microsoft for all the faults is easy. I won't argue that. It is my opinion based on my expirience, nothing more and I like Linux, that with Linux server, why not desktop? I realize that Linux for business desktop has yet reached the point that all businesses can use it due to businessware compatibility (there are a lot of Windows only based apps out there). Now that Redhat and Suse have enetered into a new realm of ownership and direction "maybe" that will change. I stand by my premise and belief that consumer demand will strengthen Linux position. Expanding Linux in the business world is a good step. I also realize Linux may reach a saturation point ala Mac where only the strong supporters return and a trickle of new consumers exists. I don't see any reason why Linux users should worry about theses two business moves. Just my view from the top of the trees that's all.
