An organization intends to do responsible testing before a major change and Microsoft-hostile news sources like ZDNet paint the person who made the decision into their corner. I can see why he'd be irked.

And notice that every question asked is an invitation to him to say something derogatory about Microsoft and acknowledge an intent to move away from Windows.

Glad ZDNet published this interview. Self-criticism can be a start to self-understanding.
