Oracle claims Yahoo as Linux convert
Yahoo's services suddenly just got worse. Whatever happened to the good old days when Yahoo was run on FreeBSD servers and things worked like they were supposed to? Now with this move to linux they will cause more downtime and unneeded expenses. Linux can't handle loads very well and takes more servers than other operating systems. Then they will need to hire more administrators to fix these linux boxes. Wow, looking on the deal now it just wasn't worth it.
