Well, MS has nothing against services, well, if the services require you to
license Windows or MS Office. They just need to make sure that they keep those two cash cows a runnin'.

Look for MS to put billions into creating dependencies on Windows and MS Office for web applications. Remember, if they can just make 2% of rich interactive web applications depend on Window and/or MS Office, they will have won. Who wants to be cut off from 2% of cool applications?
