At least thoses worms and virii will look better. I will tell you what, Longhorn is going to be a gastly, bloated, expensive thing. I don't see the consumer need or the consumer cool factor. Not only that, but the hardware requirements will be expensive. Unless Microsoft has some killer app under its sleeve that will need all of that power and people can't do without, Longhorn is going to be a commercial bust. It's Ironic that while Apple and Linux are moving towards smaller devices such as music players and phones, Microsoft is trying to run a bigger brick. Compare this to IBM mainframes and the PC in the 70's. Yup, Microsoft has become a 21st century version of 1975 Big Blue.
