Wrong tree, but the Axe keeps chopping.
Sorry to inform you, but the budget for the Microsoft appeal is pennies less than 200,000 US dollars, all told, from the first filing back in 1999 to the present. Moreover, Mass' entire yearly AG budget is only 4.1 million and that largely goes into the prosecution of violent crimes.

There's no suspense here though. The appeals court will take a wait-and-see approach. They may turn prtions of the remedy back for reconsideration, especially those which Judge KK has already deemed as insufficient. More likely they will stand pat, but I strongly doubt they will hand the AG his head on a platter.
