Google might replace Bill Gates
Well, not exactly.

It is know that Google wants to go back to the
old modle (pre-pc) where the PC's on the network
(internet) connect as "dumb terminals" and use
the array of computing power and storage spread
out on the network to do the bulk of the work.

I say Kudos to Google, who, as I have heard, will
create an "appliance" software package, and more
applications that will not run on the "client side"
but "in the network".

This will relaease Microsofts stranglehold on the
masses of people. It also goes in the direction
that Microsoft has wanted to go for a long time,
and that is "renting the OS as a service" concept.

Well, from wha I have seen, I believe that Google
is far more benevilant that Microsoft could ever
be. For that I look forward to Googles advancements.

Time will tell.
