New spin on search ads

Remember the movie "Predator"?: Remember the scene where the alien had killed the Indian (the American variety), then plopped him face down and ripped his backbone and skull out for his trophy wall?

For some reason every one of these reports of a "New 'targeted' web advertising method!" makes me think of that scene.
