Re: Pitty ... I agree to somewhat disagree
The awful truth is some (if not most) of these folks have worked hard to achieve success in their careers. Perhaps some are new to the industry. Either way they are just trying to further their careers and keep a roof over their heads, and food on the table. They may have circumstances that prevent them from jumping ship. Remember we can't all work for the high salary, great benefits, perfect morals, family friendly, utopian companies. Some have to take what is available because we are in debt, have medical bills or just trying to keep that new house we just bought. Sometimes you may have to stay to get the experience that is necessary to leave. It just is never that simple.

Further more, these may be people that totally disagree and maybe even know more than they should about what SCO is doing. This makes them perfect targets for layoffs if you ask me. I'm sure they are under non-disclosure agreements to keep their mouths shut.

The evil ones are in the ivory tower with the power and money; the rest of us are in the dungy castle waiting to serve their needs. The rich get richer and the poor get laid off (in this case). It's a sad comment that you hear all the time; some CEO's bonus and salaries are in the millions of dollars, while at the same time they lay people off. That's just life in the modern age and it is not the ?grunts? fault either way.
