Vendor demand
We have SCO Unix on HP hardware. Why? Because the vendor demands that, thier software runs on SCO. Now it could run on Linux or Sun but the Vendor won't support that. So SCO we have.

Times are changing though. Just recently we got a project to added to our list for this Vendor and it's Linux now instead of SCO.
