98 doesn't work fine

Though you are right. People will keep using that peice of crap OS. It's almost 10 years old come August 2005 it will be. I gave up Windows 98 for NT Workstation in 99 because I got sick of the OS locking up due to memory leaks. I hated having trouble with the FAT partitions and corruption. I also hated how you couldn't secure the stupid OS. If you are running Window 98 with out an internet router then you have people on your cable node surfing your files.(assuming basic user here).

The the driver problems and USB problems. Not to mention how most new hardware doesn't even come with 9X drivers so you have to try and hunt them down. If you are using Windows 9X go download Linux and use it instead less hassles and it costs you nothing. If you want easy buy XP upgrade or W2K and if you want even easier buy a MAC.

Still people will continue using W98SE just because they hate change. Just like those people I knew that wouldn't give up DOS and Win 3.1 alway the way up until 2001 when thier digital camera wouldn't work with it.
