Why?
If people are happy running win 98 they should be free to do so. Apearently the did not see any need to upgrade untill now. I fail to see why SP2 should give them the reason. There's a lot you can do to secure a win98 box with free software. Why pay a lot of money for winxp SP2?

I'm running win2k/suse9.0 and i see no need at all to go out and buy winxp. I think I'll skip winxp and wait to see if Longhorn realy is something worth considering. If it again is nothing more then window dressing I will not "upgrade" to that one either. If Linux is moving forward ar the same speed it is now....I'll probably swith to linux completely by then. Just hope that the last two pieces of software i use on windows will have been ported to Linux or have a linux equivelent of the same quality (Dreamweaver and CodeCharge Studio)
