**DISCLAIMER - I THIS IS A FUTILE POST FOR HUMOR!**
Just how dense are you?

There isn't even a functional 64bit WinOS on the market yet! They are years behind Linux and the rest of the UNIX crowd.... as usual. And by the time Microsoft gets the 64bit OS out the door and half way stable and secure, the *NIX's will be moving to faster and better architectures.

As far as apps, the only apps that will benefit truely from a 64bit architecture will be databases and games and image / sound manipulation. The rest of the desktop apps for the average everyday PC users will not see a significant improvement in anything other than the app starting speed.

Current systems are already faster than any human can possibly input data. Bottom line, more than anybody that isn't an image manipulation specialist database manager will ever need. (Okay the gamers would....)
