very lucid objection
this is the first clear description of what the privacy proponents are really concerned about. it's not the subscribers of gmail that are getting violated because they will have to agree to it to get the service. it's the down-line email user who is being violated. but is he consenting to the aforementioned use if he sends an email to a gmail address? which further begs the question if anyone will use it other than advertising spammers. you need a gig these days to keep ahead of those guys.
