In the stoneage they used the following mechanism:
- person a tells person B something. This information was then stored in the brain of person B.
- Person B ran of to the next town
- In the next town Person B downloads his information to person C's brain by converting the stored information to audio signals.
- person C temporarily stored the information in his brain before chisseling it into a clay tablet for redistribution/sale.
