Pathetic
The internet was developed for the purpose of, guess what, sending information and electronic formats back and forth.
I was personally using the internet in 1981 or 1982 (with a modem) , to (here it comes again) pass information back and forth. This includes purchasing software, and even images, from companies. The mere fact that some got a patent on such an idea I find offensive. If it was a specific way of transmitting th data, or a specific form of compression I would have less of problem. However, suing a company for selling images over the internet should be a crime in itself. Maybe I should patent moving merchandise by helicopter. It's not done that much, maybe I'll get it by the patent process. Then 19 years later, I'll sue everyone who does it. Hmmmmm, could work.
