The users you say that are "happy" with 98SE are either too poor or too incompetant to upgrade. The 95 kernel, (I'm sure you'll agree), is probably the worst basis for an OS I can think of from the year 1995 to the present. 95/98/ME are absolute junk in comparison to 2000/XP.

'98 runs a lot of games and it runs them well... but that's about it. Aside from games, it "should" be obsolete. Since the general user populace are completely incompetant when it comes to computers, that won't happen for another 5 years or so... give or take.
