The topic was SUSE Linux, Novell and Wordperfect.
Why are you putting in a Red Herring by refering to OS X? It runs on top of FreeBSD not Linux, has a proprietary interface instead of an Open Source one, requires Non Intel Hardware to run, and has almost the same market share as Linux.

Granted, it's a huge improvement over the Open Source offerings but you do have to pay for at least some of it, the very antithesis of Freely available Open Source software.

Are we dealing with another level of hypocrisy, where we show off the latest to our friends and brag about how we didn't have to pay anything at all?
