It does had a billion or so in the bank until it gave away 160 million of it to SuSe. Take the money and run boys!

Seems that security is a reasonable criteria to base a networking decision on. If you want fast and no routing, why not use IBM's NetBEUI?

I guess that even the Linux and Apple people are at least as concerned with security as your boss is.

Well, if you talk about a protocol that is applicable only to local area networks rather than wide area networks, isn't that an opposing mirror to your observation that doing things with the global picture in mind is a better way of doing things?
