Unfortunately I haven't set up as PVR yet as I have to buy TV tuner card.

I use it currently to store about 30 movies ripped from DVDs with TV out from a Voodoo 3000 card which I got a special driver from a guy in Linux news group.

My next step is purchase the recommended TV tuner card though. It works pretty slick though so far as movie library.

I beleive you Happauge should work though. Try the Linux newgroups. They are great help and some of the people there actually write drivers for some cards.
