But Windows XP is Broken
Windows 98 second edition was a good version
of Windows. But you had to purchase the
C++ compiler for it seperately.
Windows XP is BROKEN. Every time you reinstall
Windows XP you have to re-register it with
Microsoft.
It is usally not possible to download files
or e-mail attachments with Windows XP.
Windows XP at the Library version will not
even support a DOS prompt.
I hate Windows XP. Even though no operating
system is perfect we should give Linux a
chance.
Restore the Maximum Linux magazine with its
LINUX install CDs. Linux comes with its own
C++ compiler .
ANSI C and C++ have text command line interfaces
at cplusplus.com documentation section language
reference.
In most C++ int is 32 bits or 16 bits and long
is 32 bits.
REDHAT LINUX has added
long long arrayna[4096]
a long long description to make a varaible
or array element a full 64-bit integer!!
64-bit integers are needed for programs that
will not be obsolete next month when 64-bits
suddenly becomes standard.
Unfortunately, community college textbooks
are Windows based and information on xwindows
graphics programming and keyboard callbacks
is unavailable.
Linux should publish the xwindows header
functions api list to enable xwindows to be
used in applications programs instead of the
console only limit reccomended by Bill Gates.
Linux is already superior to Windows so lets
update the community college textbooks to
program in C in Linux xwindows and put the
api function list online at
the redhat or gnu website.
LINUX needs to add xwindows to open source
capability.
Every new computer should be a dual boot with
a version of DOS and REDHAT LINUX !!!!!!!!
