Qwest sued a bunch of little companies a few years back who had the word "quest" in their names. These companies did not have anything to do with communications and were not competition to Qwest in any way.

They all did, however, have technologies and staff in other areas of high tech. Other areas which --- surprise --- Qwest got into just shortly after these companies either changed their names (which screwed their name recognition in their areas of expertise) or were --- surprise #2 --- bought out by Qwest.

This whole Microsoft/Office Live deal is just another example of a big company using their deep legal pockets to drive a little company out of business. There's plenty of water at the high tech trough for everybody, MS just wants all the drink for itself. Too bad we don't have a strong justice department.
