That's not true.

"The people" don't get to vote with their wallets. Every time a
service provider says "we don't support Macs," every time an IT
department says "we only allow employees to use Windows,"
every time a college says "students are required to purchase a
Windows compatible PC," somebody is taking away the
consumer's right to choose.

I don't have any choice at all when it comes to the computer I
use at work. Even though I can be significantly more productive
on a Mac, even though I offer to pay for it out of my own pocket
and perform all the necessary maintenance myself, the IT
department refused to allow me to use a Mac.

Don't tell me consumers have a choice. That's a big, fat lie, and
you know it.
