Microsoft wants to get devices talking

I'm afraid I can't agree with you.: "... whatever Longhorn is going to do, Apples OSX does it now."

Longhorn will do a lot more, I'm sure of it, like phoning home to
send information about how you use your computer to Big
Brother so they can sell your name to the right advertisers, or
being prone to every worm, virus and security exploit that
comes along, or making you look at pop-up ads every time you
go out on the Web.

I don't think Mac OS will ever have these features. For some
reason Apple is still stuck in this old-fashioned mindset that
customers are valuable and you need to treat them as such if
